We are seeking an Operation’s Manager with qualifications or experience in Environmental Science or a related discipline and practical technical skills in ecological management—including pest plant and animal control.
This newly established position will play a vital role in supporting our key volunteers by providing administrative assistance, preparing for, and organising volunteer activities essential to operational work across our 1,200 hectares of forest on behalf of the Ōtanewainuku Kiwi Trust. The successful candidate will also help promote the values of conservation and foster greater community engagement with our projects.
The role is anticipated to require 15–20 hours per week, with variability depending on seasonal demands. Please note that some weekend and evening work will be required.
