Take Oropi Road south from Tauranga and turn left onto Mountain Road about 1.6km past Oropi School. Drive for 7km until you reach the small car park. There is a public shelter, toilet and picnic area by the road. Alternatively, access Mountain Road from No 2 Road near Te Puke.
