Update – kokako won! Please vote for the Kokako, Oropi’s favourite mascot. “Kokako are managing to make a come back on the doorstep of many major cities like the Ōtanewainuku Forest in Tauranga and we would like this success to spread around the island.”

Another kiwi has hatched! We have another kiwi safely hatched from an Ōtanewainuku bred egg! Sartor was hatched at Kiwi Encounter in Rotorua on the 18 December 2015.
