Always popular with parents and grandparents, specially before Christmas. Have a mini-module on the fauna of Ōtanewainuku. Book in a speaker or a trip to the forest and finish it off with paintings and an art auction. Great for Primary School and Pre-Schoolers.

Legend of Mauao
Older children may like to make their own book of the Legend of Mauao. How he loved Puwhenua and she spurned him because she loved Ōtanewainuku. Read the legend here.
