Sunday - workday

Remarking bait station lines

Event date: Sunday 7 August 2016 - Sunday 7 August 2016 Export event

We have had a great response to the workdays this years, and with one weekend cancelled due to the weather, we need one more workday to try and complete the remarking of the bait station lines.

So we are planning a workday this weekend, on Sunday the 7th of August, 9am at the Otanewainuku shelter on Mountain Road. Please bring good shoes/boots, warm gear and raincoats.

This weekend is also a celebration of Jim Pendergrast's 90th birthday. Jim was one of the initial founders of the Kiwi Trust and set aside the bush for us all to enjoy. So after the workday you are welcome to call into the No 2 Road public hall to wish Jim a happy birthday. We will keep a close eye on the weather and make a call by 6pm on Saturday night if we are going to cancel the workday. A message will be posted on the website and facebook if we do cancel.

If you have questions please contact me.

Kind Regards Peter Crane 0274912 424

OKT Public Annual Meeting 2018

Come join the Otānewainuku Kiwi Trust Team to recap on the year that has been and our focus for the next 12 months.
With all the amazing work that volunteers have been donating to improving the health of Otānewainuku and lifting its profile through educational talk, OKT kiwi population is increasing. That's good.... isn't it??

Michelle Impey from Kiwis 4 Kiwi will be our guest speaker to talk us through what it takes at a national level.
