Welcome Sartor!

Welcome Sartor!

Another kiwi has hatched

We have another kiwi safely hatched from an Otanewainuku bred egg! Sartor was hatched at Kiwi Encounter in Rotorua on the 18 December 2015.

Sartor's hatch weight was 236 grams and was the egg lifted from Kowhai. Kowhai is the Kiwi that came to us from Nga Manu Nature Reserve in Waikanae earlier this year.

OKT Public Annual Meeting 2018

Come join the Otānewainuku Kiwi Trust Team to recap on the year that has been and our focus for the next 12 months.
With all the amazing work that volunteers have been donating to improving the health of Otānewainuku and lifting its profile through educational talk, OKT kiwi population is increasing. That's good.... isn't it??

Michelle Impey from Kiwis 4 Kiwi will be our guest speaker to talk us through what it takes at a national level.
